Robert M. Murach died tragically on September 11th 2001 in the attack on the North Tower of the World Trade Center. He was 45 years old, married and had two daughters, Madison and Hayley, ages 6 and 9. He was a very loving father and spent as much time as he could with his daughters. To lose your father at such a young age must have been devastating for Madison and Hayley Robert ran track in high school and still holds the record for the 4X400. He was an economics major and graduated from Columbia University. Robert worked for Cantor Fitzgerald. Robert also enjoyed watching football and was known to smoke a cigar before the games. He lead a very active life, golfing, hiking and swimming are just a few of the activities he enjoyed with friends and family.

It's sad to know that he wouldn't be around to watch his kids grow older and become more mature. I'm glad that he spent a lot of time with his family which would give them better memories of him.
ReplyDeleteHe seems like a very good father, and it probably will be very hard on his wife and daughter's. You can only hope for these family's affected by September 11th to keep going strong.
ReplyDeleteI am really close to my dad it would have been devastating to lose him. its good to see that he did spend a lot of time with his daughters and didn't seem like the type to put his career before his family.
