I learn best when I re-read things. I prefer I quiet place, without distractions to learn from. It also helps me learn when I am talking, and engaged with someone else. Otherwise, I tend to just space out and let others handle the work. Taking my own notes and using visuals is also helpful to me. As well as repetition. A time I learned something well was when I was learning how to hit a baseball when I was little, and my dad would put bats in front and behind my feet so if I tried to back out, I would fall down.
The purpose of getting an education is to help you acquire skills to enter the society and workplace, yes, but also it is there to help develop you as a person. To truly know what our skills and our capabilities are as people, it is of the utmost importance that we get an education. It is also necessary for teaching us discipline and is extremely rewarding once you work to achieve and learn a new concept.
I am absolutely optimistic about my education. I do not just mean the in classroom education, because I believe education is done in class and out of class, as we are constantly meeting new challenges and learning how to overcome them. I think education starts as a mindset and how you are willing to retain and utilize your information. With this said, if you are constantly learning, and constantly retaining and utilizing new discoveries you have learned, it would be hard to be discouraged by your education and what you can do with it in the future.
