Good information about Klan. Very powerful video, shows ignorance and stupidity of KKK. Good clarity with relating to Depression era. Probable too much text on some slides. I learned that the Klan lost a lot of power during the 30s.

The powerpoint was very informative. I learned that they reached 4 million followers nationwide in 1920. The video was very interesting. Both people in the group had good volume and did an overall good job with the presentation.
ReplyDeleteThe videos that you showed during your presentation really had an impact on me, it gave me a good idea as to what the KKK believed during that time period. Some of your slides had a lot of text and I would suggest using the podium more and having better eye contact. Overall it was a very interesting presentation.
ReplyDeleteI believe the KKK is one of the biggest topics of this time period just because of what they did to America, and that everyone should know about it. I never knew that the KKK was started with confederate veterans. To me is seemed like you were not really confident when you were talking, so that is one thing to work on.
ReplyDeleteThe video that you had about the KKK right now helped me see a lot of things, it shows that it is still happening and nobody is doing anything about it. Steven had no "hiccups" during the presentation and knew what he was talking about. Taylor had good eye contact and also knew the information pretty well.

ReplyDeleteI thought this was a very good presentation. I think it's sort of funny and embarrassing to really look at the hypocrisy of groups like this throughout history. The video helped the presentation out a lot. The fact this still is around today shows how unwilling people are to realize they are wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think you guys did a good job. The powerpoint and video boosted your presentation. The video really highlighted the crookedness of the KKK. The only thing negative about y'all's presentation is sometimes you wouldnt be standing at the podium and talking from the computer. I just think that it looked unprofesional.

ReplyDeleteSpeeches: You both had good eye contact and tried to connect with us as you were talking. That was good especially due to the sensitive material you were covering. The little bits of information you threw out made it obvious that you had researched well.
ReplyDeletePresentation: Very informative presentation. The video was pretty long but honestly it really added. The people in it were basically irrational. I didn't know that a hate group so strong still existed.
I liked the video you used because it really grabbed my attention and made me realize what this group was all about. I also thought you gave a lot of good background information about how it progressed into what it is today. I didn't really know there were different eras of it and I thought that was really interesting to see. I do think you guys read off of your notecards a lot and didn't give too much eye contact which would be something you could work on.

I felt the info was good, especially pointing out how the KKK had its rise and falls since its inception. I think it could have been better only by spending a little more time behind the podium, rather than presenting from behind the computer.

I liked the presentation a lot. I i think there was too much information on the slides but overall i liked learning about it becasue there was a lot of information i didnt know about the KKK that was talked about. I think it was crazy that 10% of african american legislators were victimized by the KKK.
