The topic I am most interested is the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge. I have always thought it would be cool to visit the Golden Gate Bridge, where it opens up San Francisco's Bay into the Pacific Ocean. It is one of the iconic structures in the United States and its opening on May 27th, 1937. It took about four years to complete the building of this bridge and is spans over 2, 737 meters long. The celebration of the opening of this new bridge was about a week long. I think it would be interesting to take the time to learn more about the opening of the bridge that year.
I think my other two choices would also be neat to do a project on to learn more about them in this time period.
