(+) - Very organized and chronological order was very helpful
ReplyDelete(-) - Both speakers paused or said "Um" a lot which was distracting
very knowledgeable and informative presenters. Very visual presentation which is a plus. I learned what the CCC was, I did not know about it before.
ReplyDeleteJulia: -Good volume
-Said um and looked at notes a bit too much.
Lorenzo:-Good volume
-looked at notes, little-eye contact
Good overall presentation guys!
Julia and Lorenzo I enjoyed hearing about the C.C.C. it was interesting to learn how the C.C.C. helped the unemployed during the Great Depression. You gave a lot of good background information. The only thing I would suggest is to not say "um" as much and have more eye contact with the audience.
ReplyDeleteThe video you had for your presentation was great, giving a good overview of the CCC. It was interesting learning how many people had been employed by the CCC and a majority of their money went to their family. Something to work on is that your presentation seemed more like a speech then anything else.
ReplyDeleteI liked the pictures that you had on the powerpoint and you did a good job explaining the pictures. You both said um's and uh's alot but i learned alot abput the CCC that i did not know before. I would suggest more eye contact and not move a lot around the podium
ReplyDeleteNeither of them continuously read off a notecard or the slides. They also both maintained good eye contact and spoke loud and clear for everyone to hear! Kudos Julia and Lorenzo!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your presentation. The CCC is very interesting to me, I feel if we have al these people on welfare they should be doing similar activities as the CCC to ensure we don't have a nation of people who sit back and watch the world. It increased to 500000 in 3 years which is very impressive.
ReplyDeleteGreat eye contact and information.
ReplyDeleteGreat presentation! It was factual and i felt you both said the just right information. I loved the fun fact about FDR retreating there to a log cabin to think about his duties as president but to also enjoy the springs! Although y'alls presentation was informative, I felt that your powerpoint seemed dull and lifeless. I would have put a little more effort into the powerpoint to help boost your already great presentation
ReplyDeleteBoth of you had great eye contact and rarely needed to look at your notecards for help.
ReplyDeleteA-It got better as you went along, I could tell you were getting comfortable. Your speech was also very informative, which is good in an informative speech.
ReplyDeleteJulia-You looked at your notes quite a bit during the earlier part of your speech but the farther along you went, the more eye contact you made. It was really clear and easy to understand you.
Presentation- It was pretty good. Not a lot of slides but you guys made up for that with your speeches.
I had never even heard of this organization before this presentation so all of the information said was interesting to here. I totally agree with you when you say something like this employing people in today's society would be really helpful. I did hear a lot of ums during the beginning but I think it was just nerves and a you guys moved on you could really tell you were confident in what you were saying!
ReplyDeletePositive: You both did a really good job at memorizing your information and connecting with the audience.
ReplyDeleteNegative: The slides could have been a little more informative instead of being only visual.
I thought it was very insightful on the CCC. I honestly had no idea what that was until now. I think it could have used less "uh's" and more eye contact, but otherwise a great job!
ReplyDeleteCovered the CCC fairly well. Good addition of how it helped unemployment.
ReplyDeleteThe pauses and "ums" were a little distracting.
For me you gave really good information describing every part of what the ccc does, I knew nothing about it. Also, you did very well in the way you presented it.
