  4. I enjoyed how you organized your power point, it was interesting to hear the music style of the Harlem Renaissance and to see some paintings of that time period. I also liked how you connected the Renaissance with then and today. The only thing I would suggesting changing is how you end your presentation, leave the audience with a good thought.

  5. I really like your presentation and enjoyed looking at the pictures that were made during the time period. I also felt that you knew what you were talking about, which was good for the presentation. It was nice to know that the Harlem Renaissance happened because the people wanted to make their own culture, and without this life would have been very different. One main thing to work on would have to be not talking while the music is playing, you can either turn it off, or what would be nice it to turn it down and talk about the music as it plays.

  6. I learned a lot about the Harlem Renaissance from you guys. I would've liked it better if you would have been more prepared. Ian was very well informed about the subject and it seemed like he was passionate about it. Michael had good eye contact and his voice was loud enough for everyone to hear,

  8. I enjoyed y'alls presentation. I thought Ian used a great choice in diction. I loved the quote "once you put thought into a man, you cannot put it to sleep". I felt like this was a prime quote to sum up the Harlem Renaissance. The powerpoint was also really well done.

  9. This was a great presentation. I loved how enthusiastic he was when he was describing the artwork, I could tell he really enjoyed talking about it. Mike could have probably done a bit more research to understand what he was presenting.

  11. Ian seemed super excited to be talking about what he was talking and knew a lot about all of it which was awesome to see! I took an art class last semester that focused a lot on the art during this time so I feel like I knew a lot about what you were talking about but I like how you really drew meaning from it about equality and rights for African Americans. I think you could see you were nervous during the presentation but I think you still got your message across and it was really good!

  12. Positive: I honestly thought the Harlem Renaissance was a boring topic but you guys made it interesting and connected it with modern times pretty well.
Negative: I feel that your presentation ended kind of abruptly and did not really have a conclusion.

  13. I liked the use of pictures. I really liked Aaron Douglass' style of "silhouette" painting. I thought it was informative. I thought Ian did a great job, but it felt like Mike was just reading off the power point.

  15. I really enjoyed listening to this presentation. Mike and Ian did a really good job but i think it could have been a little bit more orginized. The slides and examples were really good and i liked the illistrations a lot.

  16. I think you did very well including the people involved and the information about them. I also thought it was funny how you presented this topic and then steven and I presented the kkk. So your topic was interesting for me because it was the opposite side of what o had researched.
