This post was written by his wife Mrs. MM. She talks about going on a night out with her parents and her son. They start out going to the movies were she bashes about how much the ticket prices are and that you over pay for the popcorn and drinks. After their movie is over they watch the bonus clip at the end, that you should basically get your moneys worth. They then go to a Dairy Queen that is an eleven minute drive in the opposite direction. Mrs. MM is freaking out becuase she thinks this is an impulse purchase and how she has already had her treat, the movie. They eat their ice cream and head home but the Grandpa wants to take one last detour. I think Mrs. MM was trying to get at the fact that you should limit yourself to a certain amount of things a day to save your money and gas. This post was to inform the people not to do needless spending, like going to Dairy Queen and wasting gas to drive there when you have already spent a fortune at the movie theater. This idea of avoiding impulse purchases is a realistic one. All this takes is a little cooperation, commitment and realizing what you have already had for the day. However i do not agree with this, i think some of the best things in life come unexpectedly like impulse purchases. although i don't agree with that lifestyle, I do agree that it will save you money.
