MLA style exercises online, from Mike Lohre

MLA style exercises online, from Mike Lohre

Students, please work with a partner or on your own, and go through these exercises as needed on the website for our Grammar and Usage handbook.

You will need to put in your email and get a password to use the site, but it only takes a minute, and you can use this link at any time to do as many practice exercises as you want.  Some people find them very helpful!

All best,

Mike

Notice the MLA exercises starting with Exercise 33-1, focusing on MLA Documentation of In-text sources (this means paraphrases and direct quotes).

These are the ones I'd recommend you go through, just for the learning experience, as it will help you polish and revise your final draft:

30-1
30-6
31-1
33-1
33-8
