My name is Ian and I'm 19. I'm currently a computer science and engineering student, although I don't know specifically what portion of that program I'm going to major in. I've been homeschooled since I've been in school, and I love it. Although I guess I'm not really homeschooling anymore, college is so close to what I've already done it's like I'm still at home. One of my hobbies is drawing graphic novel-style art. I started in early 2007 when I was 12 and have been doing it on/off ever since. I'm not a hardcore artist, but I hope one day I'll be good enough to illustrate a few books and maybe do a series of my own. I'm looking forward to the next four years and the challenges they're going to present and I hope I'll come away from all of this proud of what I did.
My favorite buckeye would actually be my roomate's mom, Denita Sutter. I don't really know of anybody famous from OSU, and I even googled it to try and find one I might like. Since nothing came up on the search, I went with Mrs. Sutter. One of the funniest things about Mrs. Sutter is that she is very mature but often acts as if she is 12. She homeschools 7 children (5 now, one married, and the other is at college [my roomate {wow, more brackets}]) and all of them are great. I got to know her quite a bit this last year because she, my mom, my roomate and I visited colleges together. Marion actally wasn't on that list but we both wanted to do OSU and somehow we both ended up here at OSUM.
Here is a picture of my face. Enjoy this picture of my face.
I think all of the comedic parts in here is what made this so interesting to read. Your funny! I am in engineering too but undecided on what field. I can't believe you were home schooled, that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteHave you been home schooled your entire life? That is pretty cool. I was home schooled for a year a while back ago and I remember liking the freedom that went along with it. Slightly difficult to make friends though.
ReplyDeleteDid you like homeschooling? it was probably hard since there would just be one person teaching it.
